Hello
This week Max and Bella have chosen a new theme: food from your holidays.
If you’ve ever been blown away by something you’ve tasted on holiday, and thought, ‘I’d like to try making this,’ now is your chance. Bring your favourite holiday food – from home or abroad, simple or complex, snack or feast – to Bella & Max’s in Aro Valley. The famous Durham Palace is in the sun on the hill, a short walk from town: through Aro Village, take a left onto Durham Street, keep going straight uphill to Durham Crescent, and we’re on the right - spot the ribbons and follow the path!
While our living and dining areas are huge, sunny and open plan with great views, our kitchen and oven are both a little petite. Pre-prepared food is easiest, but feel free to cook from scratch if you want. (If anyone wants to BYO barbeque for extra al fresco cooking space, let Max know) See you all there!
Bella & Max
We have only one free Tuesday Night left this year. Please email me if you can host next week, Tuesday the 6th of December.
See you soon
-Mike
Buon compleanno a me!
This week the theme for Tuesday Night Dinner is Italian (as customary) in Roseneath.
Part of the adventure is finding the place - the map may make it easier…
Ce vediamo

p.s. here’s the link, that should have been in last weeks email, for Aimee and Dane’s Mongol Rally aka Lemu Attack Force
p.p.s. The donation eluded to last week was to help Aimee and Dane in their quest. Tuesday Night Dinner is a cashless event.
p.p.p.s. I will never ask for your password
Hiya
This week Aimee and Dane are hosting this rather unusually themed Tuesday Night Dinner:
So the theme is ‘Mongolian! ish…’
Since we’re doing the Mongol Rally next year, we thought it appropriate to build that into our theme*.
And because Mongolian food may not offer sufficient variety, we figure this TND can include the foods of Russia and the ‘Stans. Not China, though (because we won’t be going anywhere near it for this particular trip). Mebbe next time
Please don’t be surprised if we bring out paper plates, though, depending on how many people rock up (we don’t have hundreds of the real thing)
*We may also ask you for Money/donations
See you there
-Mike
Hi
This week Tuesday Night Dinner is back in town at Maryanne’s.
She has decided the theme is Comfort Food - whatever that means to you.
See you soon
-Mike
Hello
This week we don’t have a host and I’m super busy so the theme is ‘Takeaways’ in Roseneath.
So bring your favourite takeaway, or make you’re favourite takeaway.
See you (very) soon
-Mike
p.s. we’re still looking for someone for next week if you’re keen to host.
Hello!
This is a great theme, the additonal specificity (compared to “just add alcohol” from a previous Tuesday) will make the food especially interesting. here’s the invitation from Sham:
Theme : Made with Craft Beer - 25 October 2011
My papa always said beer is food. I agree cause when I was in Egypt, we chanced upon an ancient hieroglyphic inscription saying ” the mouth of a perfectly contented man is filled with beer. And in that fashion, from the age of about 3 or 4, papa convinced me that Stout & beer is actually Coca Cola which was all well and good until Coca Cola fell in love with me at 12.
Keeping up with my late papa’s sensible advice and in honour of Oktoberfest (which is a huge beer guzzling party in my home city Kuala Lumpur where I drink by the yard glass) - I think everyone will doubly agree to lifting a chilled mug & bottle while eating food cooked with beer. I regularly cook with wine, so I thought why not experiment with beer? All the more since NZ has some fine craft beer.
Hope to see the regulars as well as newbies.
Cheers
Sham Pancha
See you soon

See you,
Viviane & Péter.
See you there!

Liz Gillam
With the December bender fast approaching now’s a good time to book in a Tuesday Night Dinner at your place. We’ve got a spare Tuesday on the 8th of November, then any week in December.
Have fun
-Mike
This week’s theme, chosen by our host Courtney Lynne is an interesting one:

Hiya
This week Peter is hosting Tuesday Night Dinners again, this time with a “Seafood / Kai Moana” theme.
IMPORTANT: When you arrive, txt Peter to say your’e here, then call the elevator and get into the elevator and wait. Someone will come out and call the elevator up to the 3rd floor to bring you up! We have a Gas BBQ outside should we need the extra cooking area.
I also have a fish smoker, salt, sugar, manuka chips and meths should you have the right fish prepared for it.
