A “pot-luck” dinner in Wellington, and other locations, every Tuesday night
I keep saying it: “fifteen years…” it still sounds funny.
THANK YOU, Thank You, thank you for your contribution over the past 15 years.
I could have had 750 dinner parties on a Tuesday Night without you but, obviously, it would have been pretty dull on my own (well, maybe after the first few hundred).
In May 2011 Tuesday Night Dinner became the travelling circus we know and love today. Our hosts enriched the last 150 dinners in a way that none of us ever could predict.
It’s always a true pleasure to come to your home, share a meal with you and a few other guests at a quiet Tuesday Night Dinner party. Then there’s what can only be described as Tuesday Night Party dinner – you know who you are – outrageous!
A special thank you to all our hosts for welcoming people into your home on a Tuesday Night. You have kept Tuesday Night Dinners alive and healthy.
Thanks again, wherever in the world you may be, I will raise a glass* to you this Tuesday Night, the 25th of March 2014.
*ok, maybe more than one glass
p.s. This is the video shot on the 11th Birthday of Tuesday Night Dinners.
p.p.s. For those of you who don't know Tuesday Night Dinner is a "pot luck" dinner that happens every week in Wellington New Zealand and other parts of the world. Each week a volunteer from the audience hosts a dinner in their home, choses a theme and invites people over for dinner on a Tuesday Night.
